PWCE Construction-Carry-All

The Construction-Carry-All (CCA) is designed to convert a variety of drive units into a versatile attachment carrier. Three classes with two sizes per class are available for mounting on 20- to 40-hp tractors, 1,200- to 6,000-lb. Skid steers, 1/2 -ton to medium-duty pickups or other carriers.

According to Paul Wever, president, Paul Wever Construction Equipment (PWCE), the CCA was originally designed to make use of the most popular, yet most overlooked, piece of construction equipment-the pickup truck. The CCA can be towed behind a pickup or attached to the front via a heavy-duty bumper package with two 2 5/16-in. diameter hitch balls. The package is available for all popular pickup models, and is designed to minimize the stresses placed on the truck frame. "We are putting stresses into it that are equal to a snowplow," says Wever. "When you put our bumper on it instead of the factory bumper, you are equalizing those stresses."

A two-ball hitch system, Quick-Tach System, is also used to attach the CCA to skid-steer, backhoe-loader and tractor buckets. In addition, the attachment arms of the CCA feature a three-point hitch or skid-steer universal coupler plate that allows use of existing attachments in your fleet. Optional attachments available include a generic dozer blade, road drag unit, box scraper and dump box. Attachment power units and a radio remote control are also available.
